Don Bosco Arts and Science College, Kilpauk, Chennai, successfully organized a historic event on 31st January 2026 to commemorate its 10th Year of Excellence. The event aimed to achieve a UNICO World Record by celebrating the vision and values of St. John Bosco through creativity and teamwork. The primary objective was to inspire students to reflect on Don Bosco’s values and contribute to a meaningful celebration by:
- Creating a human formation of Don Bosco’s image
- Curating 500 unique quotes of Don Bosco as artistic posters
- Reciting all 500 quotes collectively within a stipulated time of 45 minutes
A total of 500 students from various departments participated with enthusiasm and dedication.
- Each student was assigned one unique quote of Don Bosco
- Students designed creative posters to illustrate their assigned quotes
- All participants recited their quotes with passion and precision, demonstrating unity,
discipline, and reverence
Key Highlights:

The Chief Guest, Mr. Chezhiyan Kumarasamy, UNICO Adjudicator, along with Mr.R.Sivaraman, UNICO Director, officiated the attempt and formally declared it a new World Record. The event’s success was attributed to the collective efforts of the Management, Academic, and Administrative Staff, whose meticulous planning, teamwork, and commitment ensured smooth execution.
The leadership of the college expressed that this milestone embodies creativity, unity, discipline, and dedication, serving as a proud achievement in the institution’s history.
